I cannot say enough good things about Upper Pet Salon & Boarding! We boarded our dog Cooper with them for the week, and I was a little nervous because he is a rescue and can be timid at first. They made him feel right at home, and he absolutely LOVED it there! Throughout the week, they sent us pictures of Cooper playing with the other dogs, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Seeing him happy, comfortable, and having such a great time meant everything to us. They also went above and beyond by working with our schedule and allowing us to pick Cooper up on a day they are normally closed. That kind of kindness and customer service is hard to find. I truly don’t think we could have found a better place to board him. You can tell they genuinely care about the animals they look after. We are so thankful for such sweet, caring people and will absolutely be bringing Cooper back! ❤️ Show less

I recently boarded my dog Pepper at Uppity Pet Salon & Resort and I highly recommend this place! I admit that I was a little nervous to leave my dog for 11 days at a boarding facility, but this place is amazing! The rooms are clean and well taken care of, the grounds are beautiful, clean and provide ample space for walks. there is a very large gated area for the dogs to play in and they literally live in their own beautifully designed tiny homes ( 2 dogs per house, each dog has it's own room). I got to see Pepper via their Facebook page while I was gone and all my fears subsided as I could see that my girl was happy and well taken care of. A big thanks to all the staff who took such good care of my Dog!!! Show less

Our dog gets so excited every day to be there, views them as much family as he does us, and they’ve become like family to us. My dog has boarded here a few times now. They have a big dog park for her to play in multiple times a day and the comfort of the cabin really helps my baby! Definitely coming back!

Absolutely LOVE this place and the owner, Lu! After going to the meet & greet over a month ago, we all fell in love. However, Lu actually encouraged us to tour other facilities before booking to make sure we found the perfect fit for our family and our spoiled dogs. My husband, two daughters, and I toured 5 other facilities within a 20-mile radius, and I still cannot believe Uppity has the lowest rates while also being the most unique and beautiful facility we visited. It’s all natural grass — no disgusting turf🐾 I’m honestly scared people are going to discover what a hidden gem this place is because they’ll probably be booked all year round by this time next year. Our boys are not easy or very social, so when we picked them up and saw them happily playing fetch in the playground area, our hearts melted. And seeing them curled up asleep on the toddler bed was just the cutest thing ever. My only complaint was not taking their advice on the exit bath. 😂 Although I absolutely love that the grass is natural and lush, dogs will be dogs and roll around in it. Next time, we will definitely be taking advantage of the exit bath option! 5 stars all around. We’re so thankful we found this gem! ❤️ Show less

What an AMAZING facility and owners!! I have a small dog that I refuse to leave anywhere but due to an urgent family matter I was forced to travel suddenly and I had so much anxiety leaving my baby until I found Uppity. The cabins are unbelievably beautiful and more importantly spotless. I felt so relaxed while on my trip and got updates daily with pictures. I will never board anywhere knowing my sweet girl was taken care of safe and happy! Thank you for giving me peace of mind! Show less

Lu-Ann is incredibly friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about what she does. My 3 dogs always come back looking and feeling great after grooming, clean, happy, and smelling amazing! We've also used their boarding services, and I was blown away by the level of care and attention they give to every dog. It gives me such peace of mind knowing that my dogs are not only safe but actually enjoying their time away from home. They treat every dog like family, and it really shows. I took my dog Grizzly to Uppity pet resort a couple of years ago while I was on vacation and the owner handled him with grace! He was (and still is) a very anxious dog but the owner still took him in for boarding and he ended up having a blast and was well taken care of. The property is huge and full of beautiful trees with plenty of space for your pup to run around and sniff. I think they even offer shuttle services now. Overall I had a very pleasant experience and recommend Uppity to anyone seeking grooming and boarding services. Show less

From the moment you walk in, it's clear that she treats every pup as if they were her own. The facility itself is so welcoming, and thoughtfully designed with the dogs' comfort in mind (they even have TVs for them), and they have so much space for the dogs to run and play! I would like to share my experience with the owners of Uppity Pet Resort. A few days ago, my dog jumped out of the car window while I was driving down the highway. My dog was nowhere to be found. The area where he jumped was close to the Uppity Pet Resort. Chad, one of the owners of the facility came out and asked me what was wrong and I told him about my dog that I couldn't find him anywhere. My little dog is a Maltese breed and full of energy. I was frantic to say the least. Chad not only offered to take his tractor and look for my little dog in his area, but he also printed up flyers with my dogs name and photo on them! He passed them to all his friends and neighbors. I worried about my little dog all night long so by 11 o'clock the next morning I just had to call him. He said he hadn't had any luck, but just to hang in there, however, while I was on the phone speaking with him, a lady drove up and had one of the flyers and ask him was that the dog he was looking for, and I could hear the excitement in his voice when he said "Yes"! He went to the lady's house and picked up my dog and brought him to the pet resort and his sweet wife, Lou groomed him for me at no charge. I was so thankful for such kindness and love for my pet. If there was a 10 star rating, that's what they would get from me. You don't meet people like this every day. Show less
